The Global Warming campaign has already been reoriented back toward its anti-pollution roots. Global Warming isn’t selling well, but the Ozone Hole, acid rain, smog, and DDT are still good.

That's why they've started calling it "climate change." They're covered whether the planet warms or cools. The left is clueless about most issues but has figured out that controlling the lexicon gives them a big advantage.

Haven't all of those already been debunked? The Ozone hole healed itself. It seems this hole waxes and wanes along with sunspot activity. Of course we managed to outlaw Freon and the enviro-wackos claim this solved the "problem". IIRC, Freon was replaced with new more expensive refrigerants that happened to be waiting in the wings. Convenient for Dupont, since its patents on those refrigerants were running out or expired. Too bad for those dirty third worlders who might not die as frequently if cheaper refrigerators were available to keep food and medication fresh. Too bad, so sad. Acid rain, if I remember was going to kill off all the fish in all the lakes and destroy all the crops. Turns out to be bad science with no basis in reality. Smog, admittedly aint too good for you, but in my state, it seems mostly a thing of the past. Here in New Jersey, we used to be proud of having air you could really sink your teeth into. I guess we've exported most of that pollution to China. And DDT, millions in the Third World die of malaria because they don't have access to this effective pesticide.
