All day yesterday I heard that the report would claim no progress and now to find out that while benchmarks have not been met yet progress is being made on almost all fronts. This administration needs to find out who that “official” was that made the claim and prosecute them.
You’re assuming there IS actually an official ... maybe there is, or maybe Jayson Blair is the source. :-)
Harry Reid said if he heard good news he wouldn’t believe it.
President Bush ought to announce (like Clinton did) the troops will be home Christmas and when Christmas comes around simply say he meant next Christmas.
