Predicting that war with Syria could erupt if Prime Minister Ehud Olmert does not begin peace negotiations with Damascus, the latest IDF assessment also states that such a conflict would be "at least 10 times worse" than last summer's conflict with Hizbullah.

Military Intelligence is also identifying and pinpointing targets for the IDF in the event that a strike is launched against Iran's nuclear facilities.

MI recently established a new division to translate intelligence into concrete targets and information that can be used by units in the field. The new division is headed by Brig.-Gen. The Israel Air Force has its own department that is responsible for processing intelligence and identifying targets.

“In ancient battles, 20,000 in a single day was not a rarity.”

When nukes arrive in the Islamic arsenal, those days will return.

>>That’s why any war with Syria MUST be carried out as a REAL war-<<

And frankly we (and Israel) face a real war already with Iran and Syria even though they are attacking through proxies. We understood that when the Cubans went in somewhere it was really the Soviets. We need to “get this” about state sponsored terrorist groups, whatever cover they use.

No kidding. The Romans lost ~60,000 at Cannae. The British lost 19,000 on the first day of the Battle of the Somme.

Although, in the moonbats’ defense, I think their hangup is with the length of the war, not the amount of casualties.

In 15 minutes Israel could blow every water dam and power plant in syria. That would give them plenty to think about other than attacking israel.

because our leaders are moronic, gutless fools. Character, conviction and decisiveness are lacking in our government. We are being led by lawyers, crooks and idiots. They care only about lining their own pockets with money. The history of America I read about as a child is a fairy tale.
