I knew an exec from a major chip company that had his own sock puppet a couple of years ago. We had a few laughs waiting for the exec to be more or less within earshot to make fun of the sock puppet’s pedestrian grammar and ill-founded opinions in particular posts.
after getting laid off I helped my father who sells bread to wholefoods. What a freak show, a virtual zoo of loons, all types. I do not miss that place. bought a tomato there once for the grilled cheese is was gonna make later and they charged me $1.95 for a freakin small tomato. if it wasnt my dads cash cow (Idiots paying 3 bucks for the same loaf of bread that cost a dollar elswhere) I’d be wishing the worst on them.
Nice meat dept though.
It is certainly expensive, but they have some really unique and good foods, meats, seafood, chocolate, etc. I’ve never seen another store that can compete.
