The Tiahrt Amendment doesn't bar police from getting gun trace data; it simply keeps non-law enforcement parties from using it to harrass gun manufacturers and gun shops. The MSM and the Bloomberg anti-gun coalition can't even be truthful with the public - namely that the police SUPPORT keeping Tiahrt on the statute books!
