I just sent warner another email; this time addressed to General Warner. It was not a pretty email, and will get deep sixed as soon as it reaches an aide’s desk, but what they hey. I felt better chastising him for his absurdity.

These so-call american senators are giving a vote of confidence in AQ and a vote of no confidence in General Patraeus and our troops. They know they are doing that, and they just don’t give a damn. They need to cow-tow to the liberal media so they can get some positive press for reelection. Don’t you know, that is all they care about.

Warner was once a distinguished man; he is now nothing but a mouse. He needed to retire last go-round.

A few good men and women are fighting these idiots, but I fear it may not be enough.

President Bush will veto anything that comes to his desk regarding withdrawal and surrender, but we should never forgive and never forget those who are willing to stand in the well of the senate and condemn america.

Six months ago they voted for General Patraeus, and now, even before their own plan is followed, they want to change their minds again. These people do not belong in the Senate and we should work to unelect any republican who votes for this sham withdrawal, no confidence, surrender amendments.

They disgust me.

As far as I'm concerned, when our elected officials voted to authorize this war they made a commitment to absolute victory at any price that can't be taken back. They should be held to it.

War is not a game. They shouldn't have voted for war if they thought it was a bad idea. If I thought a war was a mistake I would vote against starting it even If I was the only Congressmen who felt that way and I was slitting my political throat. Before was the time for debate. This is after.

But once our boys are fighting the only debate that is acceptable is about how we are going to win.

“senators are giving a vote of confidence in AQ and a vote of no confidence in General Patraeus and our troops.”

Good point.

The e-mail you sent to Warner, did you save a copy?

If so, could you post it here on this thread to me?

I'd love to see it, if you need to edit any part for content unbecoming to Free Republic, that's fine.
