President Bush has been with us on the WOT and the Justices. He has opposed us fiscally and on immigration, all of which was clear when he ran for office the first time. He has governed pretty much the way I always thought he would.

Securing the border is part of the WOT and he has dropped the ball there. As far as justices, remember he wanted Harriet Miers and Laura called us "sexists" for not supporting her.

In any event, we have no idea how Roberts and Alito will pan out. They look decent now, but I feel that they could easily just be establishment types.

If a person's only issue is abortion, then Bush has been great.

Uh, not precisely. Remember, Bush wanted to shove that office hack Harriet Miers down our throats before we revolted and forced him to withdraw her in favor of a truly competent candidate, John Roberts.

And when fighting a war against terror (TM), it is considered folly to give an Islamic nation carte blanche to run our major ports. That's exactly what Bush tried to do with the Dubai ports scam.

So, Bush is not as 'with us' as you might think.
