Absolutely true. Ellison will have this seat as long as he wants it.
The time for getting rid of Ellison was in last September’s DFL primary.
I knew that no GOP or Independence Party candidate was gonna defeat Ellison in the general election - so I crossed over and voted in the DFL primary.
Voted for Mike Erlandson, the former state party chair of the DFL. An out and out liberal but as Jason Lewis described him “...a liberal you can do business with.”
I tried to persuade other Republicans I knew to cross over and vote in the DFL primary. A few did but most were content voting in the GOP primary - or not voting at all.
