These flippant comparisons of contemporary politicians, in particular, and of America, in general, to fascism/Nazism, cheapen the debate, and minimize the horror of an ideology that caused the death of an estimated 50 million people, including my great grandfather and about 40 other relatives whom I never had the opportunity to meet, because they were murdered before I was born.
