Speaking of folks who have not surrendered one U.S. Marine Captain Duncan Duane Hunter who is currently serving his third combat tour, this time in Afghanistan is having a fund raising brunch tomorrow (Saturday July 14th) at the Town & Country Resort in Mission Valley. Duncan Duane is running for his pops seat in the U.S. House, while he is in combat. His wife Margaret is running the campaign on this side of the world. The brunch is a fund raiser. $250 a head. Wed love to have you attend. Noreen and I will be there but several supporting Congressmen from CA and elsewhere will be on hand as well.
Duncan Duane is not a guy to surrender. He will not waver from his duties regardless of congressional surrender. He was livid when his unit was ordered out of Fallugia during the first incursion into that town to kill the enemy. Withdrawn in mid-mission. Success snatched from his Marines grasp. He will not allow that when he is in Congress. We need his patriotism, his heroism and his courage in Congress. Duncan Duane knows we are a nation at war. He has gone to war for his family and America three times. He understands the stakes and takes great pride in VICTORY.

Cool. I’ll have to toss him a few dollars.
Bump
Maybe if Duncan Hunter is elected, someone who remembers Vietnam, the war can be won instead of prolonged. One has to wonder how serious the other candidates are about winning the peace instead of either retreating (Democrats) or maintaining the status quo.
