In my book, this indicates sanity and common sense, and is another reason I hope the GOP goes with a VIABLE/ELECTABLE candidate by choosing Fred Thompson.
Otherwise, the Hildabeast is a shoe-in, along with her moonbat USSC appointee's.

30 minutes ago, Fox news reported that the latest API poll shows Rudy at 30 and Fred 10 points behind. McCain is a distant 3rd.
I have to agree with some of you that waiting for Fred is getting old. But I believe there is a method to his madness which I don’t fully understand but am willing to put up with (as I must). There is simply no one else out there I am excited about in the least on the GOP front. He isn’t spending any money, he’s getting free press, and he’s getting his message out in his own stealthy way. I read some liberal blogs last night and they are terrified of him. If anyone can give me a better explanation for his reluctance to announce, I’d appreciate it.

IMHO, he’s going to start slipping in the polls if he doesn’t get in the race this month. Without the benefit of his columns and radio show, he’s going to lose ground. I’m sure he knows better than I do though.
Heh, I can say one thing tho, when he does announce and gets out there campaigning and drawing huge crowds and chewing up the liberal and msm attacks and spitting it back in their face......he’s gonna surge in the polls past Rudy big time.
I have not been this excited about a candidate in a long time. Actually thinking about getting “involved” with his campaign and doing more than just contributing money.
Been almost 25 years since I’ve felt this way.

He gave the explanation himself at the Hannity concert the other night. He said turning his life in a new direction and getting organized is taking somewhat longer than expected.
It would be TERRIBLE for them to rush and then be disorganized. Better to take the necessary time and start with a bang.
