I trust private companies in Mexico, China or in the U.S.

The question is whether one trusts companies in China or Mexico to the same degree as in the U.S. Any educated person would answer no.

Your idealogy is good and I agree with it. But one mustn't allow idealogy to blind one from simnple comparative analysis.

And to address your question: Yes I am for the FDA regulating food safety.

So you trust the FDA who are evil, corrupt, unaccountable bureaucrats and politicians? I don't.

What has government done efficiently? did you read and understand the Hayek statement in my post?Go into a Best buy or Walmart and you'll see that private companies are thousands of times more efficient, more accurate, more productive than government

you are willing to give up more of your freedom, money, to the government all because the liberal media engages in fear mongering?

You don’t see that your kind of thinking is what is leading this government to grow in power and size?

No company wants to get sued.

Every company wants to produce quality so that their sales increase or don’t fall.

The FDA cannot do a better job at quality control than private companies even if these goons tried.did you read and understand the Hayek statement in my post?
but you give up my freedom to have government impose your beliefs on the rest of us who don’t trust government. that is against freedom. You trust government to do a better job than private industry. I don't.
