Why are we back again to the stupid two party talks again? Oh, right, because they’ve learned that the US will give them stuff, where as South Korea will do it anyway without talks.

Got a better suggestion, cut off all the aid, let the dictatorship fall apart, and stand ready to help all those who will be starving before someone submits to reason.

That is very very expensive, as it implies that "we" would be responsible for the country. It is much better to have a gradual improvement in the North. The NK population is malnutritioned (many are irreversible destroyed) and have a distorted mindset. This will take decades to rectify. But, I do not think that there will be a gradual transition.
