Perhaps the residents of Virgina have to take this abuse until the next election cycle. Those of us that live out of state don’t. That may be why the provision relating to out of state drivers was removed. Can you imagine what this would do to the tourist industry after it became public knowledge that some tourists received three thousand dollar fines for being caught in a speed trap?

I’m pretty sure the logic behind this was the tourist industry.

Our next election cycle is this fall. All 140 members of the General Assembly are up for reelection.

Imagine what this confiscatory bill does to the Citizens of the commonwealth?

BTW, this money grabbing politician is a likely candidate for higher national office. Keep a close eye on TK.
