They are not “scared of black folks”. They just see that it is a waste of time to pander to a group that is so narrow minded in their own political views. They refuse to be shaken down and hustled by the Jesse Jacksons, Al Sharptons and Julian Bonds of the world.

I believe you hit it on the head, especially after the last election when three black Republicans got trounced, especially in Maryland. Maryland basically crapped on the black voter - ignoring them by picking at old, white guy and they still turned out for them. So - ef em!
