I heard so much pap about the fairness doctrine on c-spam it was becoming comical. Obviously no one at all(who is calling in) knows what it is or entails or even why it was killed off.
The Dems just cannot stand the light of truth shining anywhere, and it shines brightly on talk radio.

Timmy asks Webb if he is trying to wrest control of the war from the President. Webb says no and then goes on to illustrate exactly how he is trying to do just that.

He is one of those who cannot hear himself when he speaks.

So Senator “I served in the Reagan Administration”, while the US voters face record high gas prices, a slowing Economy and a still unresolved Immigration crises you want to continue with completely useless grandstanding for the Politically Corrupt Media about their Bete Noir, Iraq.

Wonder how all those “betrayed Conservatives” in Virginia who fired George Allen (life time American Conservative Union rating 92%) for this Socialist DC insider clown feel about their “hero” now.

Good news, it appears Brit’s hosting FNS again this week ;-)

I prefer Pundit Brit Hume than host Brit Hume.

True, but we are annihilating them 10:1 in a rather PC/asymmetrical warfare mode. Take off the gloves and the real numbers of what we really could do, would destroy their enthusiasm real quick.

Thanks for the update. I don’t get Meet the Depressed here until 10:30.

Right now, I’m trying to listen to Hadley being interviewed by Brit.

I missed the fairness doctrine segment this morning bahbah, but I did catch on caller later on commenting about the absurdity of the whole segment.

The host today is reporting the NYTimes story about Al Maliki’s statement, and of course, does NOT report the context in which it was made. No surprises. C-span leans left more often than not, and NEVER corrects errors by guests or articles in the paper. A shame.

Brit does a pretty good job interviewing Dimms...

Sadly, Rod, you’re so right. The same thing happened in Vietnam. Local village chiefs had to make their peace with the Viet Cong because the more powerful Americans gave up and went home. The commies still slaughtered them anyway.

It’s too bad we can’t teach the local Iraqis that lesson. They have to acquiesce to power. But they need to consider what life will be like under a Taliban, and either accept that fate or fight on, maybe to the death. That is so damn sad!!!!

I wish we could force the dems and the DBM to make a similar choice. I think mostly they’d take the coward’s way out. But it would be sweet shadenfreude to see the liberated feminists in Congress stuck at home in burkas and the anti-God metrosexual men having to pray to Mecca five times a day.

Isn’t it interesting. We have REAL atrocities being perpetrated against average Iraqi men, women and children regularly by the Terrorists yet the PC media cannot be bothered to report on them.

HOWEVER, make completely fraudulent accusations against the US Military (note the Haditha Marines who were exonerated this week) and it is good for weeks of banner headlines.

I have to wonder WHAT will it take for Conservative to wake up to just how politically corrupt the Establishment Media has become?

Timmy whines “why not give these soldiers a year off after being deployed in this war?”

Graham is doing a pretty good job making a case for the surge.

The military is not the problem, he says, the problem is the Congress. Webb is cleaning his fingernails. Ugh!

Are the PC Media stupid or politically corrupt? I don’t think they are stupid. I think they are consciously trying to “manage” the news to fit their political dogmas.

FNS is such a better show with Brit at the helm; the more I see him restored to host the less I like it with Wallace in the seat.

Graham should have said: "Tim, why don't YOU take an year off from hosting MTP"

Timmy is picking up the MSM line that it’s not really al-Qaeda in Iraq, it’s really a civil war.

Timmy cites Maliki saying that we can leave and we’ll be just fine. If he’s saying that then why are we there?

Graham mentions our national interest. Does a good job with his answer.

Johnnie, I’ve met some of them (when I was stationed in the Pentagon, we were right under the press corps wing). Some of them are really, truly, very damn stupid.
