There is a subtle undermessage often implied in these “filmings” — Democrats are sexually aware (and hip), Republicans are sexually repressed.
But then there is the Fred/trophy wife “controversy.” So when a Republican has a pretty younger wife (and kids) he is not “hip” — just a dirty old man (if you ask Susan Estrich).
There is also a lot of insecurity in those who go to these lengths. I would take all this as a sign of our side gaining ground.
I’ve looked on YouTube. Whoever filmed it had to be pretty upstanding to get on the floor of both conventions. Maybe that lady who does the funny spots on CNN? I just can’t find it. I would love to post it, LOL.
