He just said what most Democrats think, but don’t have the guts to say.

Apparently this guy has a problem with perspective.

BTW - I was watching a show on TV yesterday about hunting escaped nazis. They claim that Syria is still hiding one of the worst nazi butchers that escaped.

Well with a Muslim, comparisons to Hitler might be a compliment?

Vice-President Dick Cheney's stance of refusing to answer some questions from Congress was "the very definition of totalitarianism, authoritarianism and dictatorship", he added.
He's a regular Noah Webster, he is.

No doubt Ellison has the inside line on this ~ just trying to protect his friends by distracting us.

Why do we even have a Muslim in Congress and why do we have one running for President. This is bizzare.

True Colors:

And I'll see your true colors shining through

I see your true colors and that's why you say that about W

so don't be afraid to let them show

your true colors...your true colors

are dark and hateful

UNlike Liberty's rainbow

There was a thead earlier about a Thomas Sowell column in which he invoked the possibility that there could someday be a military coup in this country.

I think everyone on all sides is aware how the anger has built up around politics and culture. I really don't know why this has happened although I certainly feel the anger. I, myself, am angry as hell. I know my own reasons, I just don't know why everybody has, in the last few years, found reasons -- from all sides -- to be so enraged.

One reason that we know this is happening is that the public conversation has become more and more intemperate.

It does seem to me that the pressure can not build too much more before we start seeing some serious violent acting out. I know when I hear this ba$tard Ellison say something like this or when I hear Rosie O'Donnell or Michael Moore...the anger in me is white-hot. Fortunately, I am not so young and don't keep guns and just am not the type to take it to the streets. But if the people who are packing and are a little more action-oriented than me are feeling the anger that I am feeling at these obscene assaults against our country and our culture, then I don't see how we are not moving into some very troubled times.

...so Bush wants to exterminate the Jews? I thought this would make Muslims happy.

Well the Iranians don’t believe in the Holocaust - so that would mean that Hitler’s only crime was being too aggressive with his neighbors - something that Mohammed was guilty of. So I guess, Bush isn’t that bad.

Well he stopped just short of stating Bush did 9/11 but insinuated it nonetheless. I believe any member of Congress who states that our government did 9/11 is incapable of rational thought and is a traitor. Somehow - we should work towards removing that person from office.

"It's almost like the Reichstag fire, kind of reminds me of that," Mr Ellison said. "After the Reichstag was burned, they blamed the Communists for it, and it put the leader [Hitler] of that country in a position where he could basically have authority to do whatever he wanted."

Wonder who this dumbass is blaming for all car bombings going on right now. Surely it has to be Bush since it couldn't be his satanic Muslim brothers.

Mr Ellison also raised eyebrows by telling his audience: "You'll always find this Muslim standing up for your right to be atheists all you want."

A convert to Islam who was previously linked to the extremist Nation of Islam, Mr Ellison, 42, has cultivated a moderate image since being elected last November, concentrating on issues such as health and education.

Maybe this nutjob can join with Obama Osama and form the first Muslip-Mujahideen Coalition of legislators in D.C.

This fellow is obviously not a practicing Muslim in the literal sense (kind of like the non-practicing Catholics and other "Christians" who continue to vote in a very un-Christlike manner) if he believes it is ok to be an Athiest (although if someone makes that decision for themselves, I won't stand in the way - just don't prevent me from telling them about Jesus Christ).

But the fact that he is tied in with Louis Farrakahn and his organization of uber-hate Nation of Islam, tells me that his recent "moderation" would be 100% a political move.

Pushing the line...perhaps someone can qualify...

United States Constitution Article II, Section. 4.

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

United States Constitution Article III, Section. 3

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

Democrat Keith Ellison is now officially the first Muslim United States congressman. True to his pledge, he placed his hand on the Quran, the Muslim book of jihad and pledged his allegiance to the United States during his ceremonial swearing-in.

Capitol Hill staff said Ellison's swearing-in photo opportunity drew more media than they had ever seen in the history of the U.S. House. Ellison represents the 5th Congressional District of Minnesota.

The Quran Ellison used was no ordinary book. It once belonged to Thomas Jefferson, third president of the United States and one of America's founding fathers. Ellison borrowed it from the Rare Book Section of the Library of Congress. It was one of the 6,500 Jefferson books archived in the library.

Ellison, who was born in Detroit and converted to Islam while in college, said he chose to use Jefferson's Quran because it showed that "a visionary like Jefferson" believed that wisdom could be gleaned from many sources.

There is no doubt Ellison was right about Jefferson believing wisdom could be "gleaned" from the Muslim Quran. At the time Jefferson owned the book, he needed to know everything possible about Muslims because he was about to advocate war against the Islamic "Barbary" states of Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Tripoli.

The Radical Muslim has been at war with us since 1801.

Jefferson's victory over the Muslims lives on today in the Marine Hymn, with the line, "From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli, we will fight our country's battles on the land as on the sea."
