The way I see it, a career prosecutor who is actually a conservative wouldn’t need a committee to help him figure out what to look for in judges.

Rooty Toot can get Ted Olson, Larry Thompson and Miguel A. Estrada to tell everyone to ignore his lifelong support for liberal issues and liberal causes. Won’t change a thing.

Giuliani will not get the votes of enough conservatives to be the GOP nominee.

I would question anyones conservative credentials, even those selected to be on an advisory panel, who support Rudy Guiliani, who is a liberal. I might make an exception for Ted Olson whom, I believe, is a long time personal friend of Rudy, although lack of judgement in publicly supporting Rudy is still a valid criticism.

The committee signals an important moment for building his relationship with social conservatives a he tries to convince skeptical Iowans he can compete seriously in the caucuses.

**************

Rudy, you don't need a committee to convince me of anything. If you can't do it on your own, I'm not interested.

I prefer to vote for someone who isn't a cross-dressing, pro-abortion, anti-second amendment, pro-homosexual union politician.

Drop dead, Mr. Giuliani.

A man who doesn’t understand that the Constitution in no way guarantees a right to abortion is a man who doesn’t understand the Constitution sufficiently-well to be President of the United States.

It’s a fundamental, fatal flaw in his candidacy.

Great!

Now, if he’ll just let one of them take his place as the candidate, we’re all set!

Guiliani is the only Republican who could win NY in the general election. It’s the only way this time around a Democrat will NOT win the White House, thanks to a horrible second term by Bush and the feckless GOP Senators.
