After frantically searching for a campaign theme that will make it possible for him to become the next Presidential nominee for the Democratic Party The most telling line in the article.
At least ThunderThighs and Osama already have a theme: Socialism and anti-Bush. They mostly sell their theme by trying to disguise their theme (they can't say the S word) and pounding on Bush every day.
Edwards just wants to be president because his ego demands it and obviously a 28K/sq/ft house and $800 haircuts ain't doing the job.
