I hear from acquaintances in Miami that there is now a "Little Caracas" area that is rivaling in numbers of people arriving the "Little Havana".

Looks like they are flleing Chavismo with whatever money they can get out with.

It has been my observation that pretty soon polls will show 99.9% support for Chavez.

Whether the Venezuelan people want Chavez for life, it is now irrelevant and much too late. He’s got the country by the crotch and he’s not about to give it up now.
He showered the mostly poor and uneducated class with “free” welfare benefits before the last election and they voted him back to power on the belief that the gravy train would continue to roll. They will find that they sold their country’s democracy for a few dollars and a promise of more. What they will now get is a dictator and an increasing police state presence.
