Osama bin Laden was right.
In the 1996 Fatwa by bin Laden, the leader of Al Qaida wrote:
Few days ago the news agencies had reported that the Defence Secretary of the Crusading Americans had said that “the explosion at Riyadh and Al-Khobar had taught him one lesson: that is not to withdraw when attacked by coward terrorists”.

You have been disgraced by Allah and you withdrew; the extent of your impotence and weaknesses became very clear. It was a pleasure for the “heart” of every Muslim and a remedy to the “chests” of believing nations to see you defeated in the three Islamic cities of Beirut , Aden and Mogadishu.
I say to Secretary of Defence: The sons of the land of the two Holy Places had come out to fight against the Russian in Afghanistan, the Serb in Bosnia-Herzegovina and today they are fighting in Chechenia and -by the Permission of Allah- they have been made victorious over your partner, the Russians. By the command of Allah, they are also fighting in Tajakistan.

These values were approved and completed by the arriving Islam as stated by the messenger of Allah (Allah’s Blessings and Salutations may be on him): “I have been send to perfecting the good values”. Is there any doubt that what bin Laden said in 1996 is true?
And if the United States of America cannot withstand the forces of Islamic Terror, what hope is there for the rest of the Western nations?
What happens when once again Islamic Terrorists attack the United States? They know that any threat of force is a just a charade as long as the likes of those above hold elected office.
At what point will the West rise up and declare with words and determined physical force that civilization has a right to exist?
Over this extended 4th of July week ponder the writings of Thomas Paine and ask yourself at when and at what point will bin Laden be proven wrong?

I find it odd that the NIE’s conclusion that terrorism is still a threat is reported as news.
I find it laughable that Pelosi thinks she has something worthwhile to say on this topic. Her ignorance is surpassed only by her maladroit arrogance.

Iraq continues to be the hub for terrorism with the spokes being iran/ syria/saudiland/turkey. It will continue to be the hub until the spokes are broken.
The new report also points to the alquaeda council meetings in Iran...they are still openly conducting business..as an extension of the quds.
So, if you want terror, go to the epicenter, Iraq.
