Montgomery County public school employees censored and discriminated against a group opposed to the county's new sex-education curriculum, an Alliance Defense Fund attorney said yesterday in a letter to the county school board president.
Teachers and a principal violated the First Amendment right of Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays, known as PFOX, by encouraging students to throw away the group's literature, said Jeremy D. Tedesco, an attorney for the conservative legal group, which is often involved in issues of religious freedom.
Teachers and the principal at Winston Churchill High School put the group's name on school trash cans and told students to throw away its fliers, Mr. Tedesco's letter stated.
"The problem here is that they've targeted PFOX because they don't like their viewpoint on homosexuality," Mr. Tedesco told The Washington Times. "It's a back-door approach to religious discrimination."

More liberal hypocrisy
doesn’t sound like censoring.. if they’d censored it, the students never would have had them.
Heck, you don’t have to be “religious” to KNOW beyond any doubt that no one is “born that way”, there is no “gay gene” and males pretending to be “female” and females pretending to be males (dikes) are NOT NORMAL!
“It’s a back-door approach to religious discrimination.”
Given the subject, this might not have been the best choice of words.
Sodomites have rights too. ( sarcasm off )
OMG! That's my old school! I'm totally sure that it's Mr. Lasco! That guy really creeped me out, but the weekend "study sessions" he used to organize for the males in the Drama Club really had a smarmy vibe that I could pick up even in my youthful innocence...

If what I just wrote made you sad or angry,
it was probably just a joke.
You are one of "them"?
Yes, it’s more CENSORSHIP!
Liberals are tyrannical dictators.
You: Given the subject, this might not have been the best choice of words.
AGAIN, you don’t have to be “religious” to have common sense and SEE that homosexuals are NOT normal and MANY have come to their senses and turned away from this hideous lifestyle CHOICE.
Meanwhile, Lasco is on the hunt looking for innocent young boys in the drama club. Homos LOVE the arts since that is more SUBJECTIVE.
I would like to quote Mr. Lasco, who recently told me that "I did not spend 2 years in the military fighting for the flag, I spent 2 years in the military fighting for the right to burn it."

You are one of "them"?
No. I was in the knitting club. We were all dead butch.

Get a sense of humor. I referring to the fact that they used “back-door approach” in a story about homosexuality. It was NOT a serious comment.
“...he is a homosexual teacher...”
What department covers that subject? History? Math? Language Arts?
I apologize.
I’m so sick and tired to homosexuality being rammed down our kids throats as normal and anyone objecting to it as abnormal or “homophobic”.
The others would be much more polite.
When the government trashes the message that's censorship. When a private party does so, it's not censorship (under the Constitution).
The teachers in Montgomery county, even the gay ones, are going to have to give up fascism. I know it's going to be tough for them to do so, but it's for the children!
Liberal arts.
Maybe I am missing something here, but religious discrimination is when you discriminate against a person or group due to their beliefs. Since when did homosexuality become a religion?
Setting aside the whole idea that religion dictates homosexuality is a sin...there is also the matter of "biological incompatibility" and the "yuck factor". And I ain't going to delve any further into that topic, LOL!
You still plan on going to the class reunion this October? I don’t think I’ll ever be able to look at ole “Let’s Go” Lasco the same way again.
That may not have been the best choice of wording either!
