Moving forward with the federal 287(g) authorization would ultimately mean Waukegan police could obtain authority to begin deportation proceedings for illegal residents convicted of violent crimes and drug violations.

Waukegan has withstood numerous marches and protests by open borders groups in the past. It is refreshing to see the City’s leadership stand up for law abiding citizens, instead of caving in. Another Chicago area city, Elgin, has refused to implement the same ICE program just because it fears the same treatment.

I think someone else started with “F” but that is a turnoff to many people so “H” is used. Besides, we’de like to make it a popular bumper sticker and “F” just wonn’t do for that.
