"It is important to bear in mind that terrorists cannot destroy America," he said, appearing on a panel discussing the symposium theme, "Attacking Islam: Implications for Social Cohesion and U.S. Relations with the Muslim World." The U.S., he said, is too powerful and too resourceful for terrorists to defeat.

This guy is a dangerous liar.

No, no!

The muslims abhor violence, I mean, CAIR launched an online petition back in May 2004 called “Not in the Name of Islam” so that Muslims worldwide could rise up in one voice to denounce terrorism..

Just go to http://www.petitiononline.com/mod_perl/signed.cgi?15103374 and see the massive response over the past three years from the billions of Muslims across the globe..

No, no, no. GW thinks they are the religion of peace. Don’t even give him any credit for stirring the post against islam. The american people are waking up slowly to their singleminded lying cult. The battle cry should have been and should be death to islam.

This is the thanks the White House gets for bending over backwards to be “nice” to these people, and, yes, pandering to them. Muslims out of U.S. now, with CAIR’s members the first to go.

And at the very end: "Only a reporter for The Washington Times was asked to leave the room yesterday. After she was escorted out, the doors to the room, which had remained open, were closed.

Mr. Keene said that CAIR has attacked as "anti-Muslim" a number of publications, including The Washington Times, the Dallas Morning News, the Tampa Tribune, the New Republic magazine, U.S. News & World Report, and the Weekly Reader, a popular newspaper for schoolchildren.

"My hope and belief was that this event was going to be an open discussion," he said in a brief interview after the symposium. "It was what I said in my speech. You don't restrict access because someone disagrees with you."

Mr. Keene had better watch his back.

I’m getting tired of the liberal approach to adding the suffic “phobia” to everything. Phobia means - I believe - fear. What I have for islam (small i very much intended) is absolute disgust. May pig s**t be on the prophet and the horse he rode in on.

A phobia is an irrational fear of something. Since near 100% of terrorism is carried out by muslims, and supported by far too many “moderate muslims,” I’d say our fear is completely rational.

"Terrorism is a tactic. You cannot eradicate it by declaring a war against it.

Well Parvez Ahmed. If that's the case, how about the US just declaring war against all Moo-SLIMES then? To heck with declaring war against terror. We will just declare war on you and the rest of you Moo-SLIMES. Go back to the sand desert with your camels and goats.

There is a lesson here - these muzzies will never be satisfied -- even when the President of the UNited States bends over backwards to kiss their colective asses.

Recently, a shoeless President George Bush accompanied by female aides in makeshift hijabs (Islamic prayer scarves) spoke at the rededication of the Islamic Center of Washington. The president sang the praises of a “religion of peace,” despite the fact that the Center is a Saudi-funded promulgator of Wahhabism, a strict form of Islam that critics say has spawned Muslim fundamentalism and extremism. He extolled a “faith that has enriched civilization for centuries” as he stood surrounded by representatives from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Muslim Public Affairs Council and the Islamic Society of North America, organizations that fund the Muslim Brotherhood and affiliated Islamic terrorist groups. Bush emphasized America’s solidarity with Muslims in the fight to preserve religious freedom and liberty and to combat terrorism. In his speech commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Islamic Center, Bush thanked Muslim leaders who oppose extremism and railed against "radical extremists who use the veneer of Islamic belief to support and fund acts of violence."

A Muslim civil rights group yesterday blamed the Bush administration for promoting "Islamophobia" and said the "war on terror" won't stop terrorists.

Correct, the war on terror won't stop the terrorists, but nuking Mecca will.
