Robert Novak writes that Attorney General Jon Bruning raised twice as much money as Senator Chuck Hagel in the second quarter and now has a significant cash advantage. Novak says that most observers think Hagel is in his last term in the Senate, one way or another.
Thanks. Looks like a good guy. We’ll throw a few bucks his way.
Was at DU recently and saw a (deluded) post concerned that he may become a formidable challenger to the Dem candidate.
he = Hagel
I have an Uncle who lives in Lincoln, and he says Hagel
has never been a Conservative.
Also, an Aunt who happens to be a flamin’ lib, loves Hagel.
She also lives in Lincoln, (she’s my uncles sister, not his wife).
So there ya’ go...
Hagels gotta go...
it is good news but i am from nebraska i am not sure that it does not open a door for bob kerry if jon beats chuck
Please, please let them be correct that this is it for Hagel. He’s a buffoon.
Great! This could be a pick up for the Republicans!
Good to hear about this. I will send a donation in after I read up on him. What I’ve read so far sounds good.
Or a pick up for the dem’s chuck has provided aid and comfort to the enemy but jon may not be able to beat bob kerry if he comes back. Chuck votes good except for the war
Good.
Good news! I’m glad Bruning is getting support, he’s getting mine.
Didn’t Tom Osborne lose his Governor primary because he said that illegals deserve free tuition? Beloved god-like Tom Osborne?
Hagel is just a mammoth mistake that I will enjoy seeing Nebraska fixing.
Chuck votes bad on immigration reform.
Hagel has been an arrogant prick since he was elected. Not the first politician who turned his back on the people who gave him his job. But hopefully he will pay the price so many of these backstabbers do: unemployment. Maybe he and John McCain can get together and reminisce about the days when they both meant something.
Senator Chuck Hagel, Clinton ‘BlackHawk Down’ Republican
>Every Democrat plan leaves Troops in Iraq without any re-enforcements<
Kucinich/Hagel in ‘08.
