ANAHEIM, Calif.—A teenage girl on vacation from Indiana was arrested Tuesday for investigation of dumping her newborn in a restroom trash can, police said.
The 17-year-old from Indianapolis was in custody as she recovered at a hospital a day after giving birth in the restroom of a Denny's restaurant
The infant was in good condition
officers called to the scene saw her standing outside the diner with blood on her clothes. She was at the restaurant with a teen believed to be her boyfriend and his parents.
A woman believed to be the boyfriend's mother found the baby when she went to the bathroom and "discovered a bloody mess and movement in the trash can,"

Not too hard to understand...we tell our young people it’s okay to murder a child in the womb...I imagine in their eyes, it’s okay after it’s born, too.

This is so sad. Speaking as a man with no children that made it past Planned Parenthood and didn’t find out about it until after the fact, (a real relationship killer). There isn’t one of those kids I would’nt have wanted but none of those women would have been fit a mother. This young woman will be haunted for the rest of her life over her selfish act knowing that somewhere there will be a person that she gave birth to that will hate her guts.
Thank God she did not wrap the baby in plastic or leave it head down in the toilet. May the child have a life better and safer than this beginning.

Therein is a lesson for life. Don't have sex with any woman unless you want her to be the mother of your children.
How dare she throw her newborn into the trash! Only an abortion clinic can do that!
I found out after the fact that a close relative had an abortion, and then later another. The second abortion came after the birth of her only child (I still can’t wrap my brain around that fact.) We would have gladly taken both children into our home and raised them as our own - no questions asked.
Cut her some slack. She was on her way to Disneyland... happiest place on earth! Who has time for a new born baby? /sarc

Amen to that. I was young and stupid. Not a good excuse but like many I was encouraged by peers and media to have sex with any girl dumb enough to let me. Didn’t get married until I found the right person and at 46 we were going to adopt but cancer put an end to her and our plans.

Oh yeah. I matured but the 60s and 70s was like being at a sex salad bar for many. I was luckier than most in that I’m STD free and not drug addled. I can only think of four or maybe five of my friends from those days that are still with us.
God is an iron. I’m very sorry for your losses.
