Actually, Hitler never desired war with Britain, and offered repeatedly to make peace with the British, who he admired as true Aryans.

OMG

(and here we went and 'eradicated' Hitler and Nazism. For shame)

Hey, folks. This additional post by Sherman Logan should tell us all that we are wasting our p*ss bothering to refute this posters remarks. This is the last straw...

Grampa taught me not to "get in a p*ssing contest with a skunk.

To continue to spar with this 'mind' is a colossal waste of time. I don't know if the poster is Islamic or uber liberal - or both - or just plain ignorant. It matters little. He/she's beyond the pale and not worthy even of our ire.

he/she (YOU, the poster) won't get a clue from anything we say - even when, as in my post #150, give them links straight to the source of evil/

We wont be able to inform this poster of anything - he/she already knows it all.

I guess I’ve been excommunicated.

However, the fact remains that Hitler had no desire to fight Britain. This has been known for decades. It’s spelled out in detail in Mein Kampf, where he equally plainly spells out his intention to destroy the Soviet Union and enslave the Slavs.

It is one of the reasons the Brits were able to pull the Dunkirk evacuation off. Hitler was convinced that Britain would make peace at any moment, and he wouldn’t need to capture Britain’s last army.

You apparently get from this that I’m a fan of Hitler. Nothing could be farther from the truth. I’m very glad he and his evil system were destroyed.

But it still doesn’t change the fact that he viewed Britain as a likely ally rather than as an enemy that must be destroyed like France and the USSR. They had to go if he was to control Europe.

Hitler had few ambitions outside Europe. He rightly figured that conquest of Europe to the Urals would keep the Germans busy for some generations.
