It was probably just a coincidence of timing that the National Intelligence Estimate detailing our failures in the war against the terrorist threat posed by Al Qaeda came out in the middle of Congress’ all night show of “stop the Iraq war” speeches.

The threat to us from Usama and his gang, to the surprise of almost no one, is coming primarily from Pakistan, which we’ve been largely ignoring, while we spend billions every day fighting a losing war in Iraq.

Who needs an invasion? Our Air Force can take out all the population centers in the so-called "tribal areas" that Mushy has allowed to fester. Maybe we're waiting for the Indians to start going to war with the Pakis over Kashmir to do what we've needed to do for at least five years.

There are over a billion muzzies that need killin', while it's useful to let them do a lot of it to each other, there are still ones that have no natural enemies except our military, which needs to be engaged in taking them down, rather than playing kindergarten cop in Iraq.

There's hypocrisy to go around. That's politics. But I beg to differ with Susan Estrich about the Iraq War. We just captured an Al Qaeda bigwig and we're poised to dismantle their Islamic Caliphate. The year's half over and its NOT a good time to be a jihadist - unless we give them a reprieve by losing heart and deciding to cut n run.

It is impossible to get in the little heads of the defeatists that Iraq is the center front of the war on terror and the two leaders of Al Qaeda Bin Laden and Zawahrir have said it so many times. It is in Iraq where all the islamic terrorists from all over the world are coming to fight us and it is in Iraq where our brave troops are annihilating them.

lib troll? Hardly! I’m retired US Army and I’ve voted Republican all my adult life. I merely pointed out that IMHO in all her printed garbage, she did have ONE valid point, about the potential for the Democrook Congress to shoot themselves in the foot if they consider impeachment.
