My Senator voted to be able to sue anyone who sees and reports suspicious activity (thereby, caving to Muslim radicals). He will be hearing from me (and hopefully be made aware that this is not going to be the secret action he had hoped it might be).

The headline's misleading - it states the House Dems killed the amendment, but while many House Dems voted against it, it passed in the House by roughly a 3-1 margin.
It was the Senate Dems who killed it.
