Incensed by the most recent arrest of an alleged drug dealer, a Cleveland politician wrote the perp a scathing, profanity-filled letter that referred to the man as a "crack dealing piece of trash" who should "go to jail or the cemetery soon."
In a July 12 letter, a copy of which you'll find below, Councilman Michael Polensek, 57, tore into Arsenio Winston, 18, after learning of the teenager's arrest earlier this month on a felony drug trafficking rap. The letter's writer and its recipient are pictured above.
Winston's bust came in Cleveland's 11th Ward, which Polensek has represented since 1982. Writing that jail or a funeral home would be Winston's next stop, Polensek noted, "Quite frankly, I don't care which one you get to first as long as your dumb stupid ass is out of my neighborhood."

I disagree. Very appropriate to me and much more likely to make an impact than your “mature, professionnal” letter.
The Councilman seems to have a lot of built up contempt for this guy.
If all our “politicians” could be so “immature”.
If all our “politicians” could be so “immature”.
Wrong on your first two points but correct on your last one.

Profanity-filled? What is the smoking gun smoking today?
Polensek is a local guy. I heard him on the radio and he was great. We’ve had enough “mature” and “professional” politicians. What we need more of are the old-fashioned kind who spoke their mind, cared about their neighborhood, and kicked butt. This Arsenio jerk was from another area and came to Polesek’s ward to cause trouble at a festival. Polensek confronted him and told him to get lost. That’s when Arsenio told him to kiss his butt.
His dumb a$$ mother thought “dumb as mud” was a racial slur because mud is black. Well, around here it is but I’ve seen red mud, yellow mud, etc. At least she did say her son was wrong and made him shake hands and apologize to Polensek.
What is profane?
Politicians were never meant to be professional politicians.
He is supposed to be a publuc servant, not a doormat.
CORRECTION

I didn’t not see any threat in that letter.
I do believe Councilman Polensek showed admirable restraint in his choice of words.
Maybe he’ll write another letter in a few years on his behalf to the parole board.
FLIPPIN’ SWEET!
Compared to the anodyne politically correct nonsense that our politicians (or their handlers) spout 99.9% of the time, this is indeed a foul, hate filled invective!;)
I really liked the letter and would love to see more “welcome to prison” letters written like that one.
Actually it seems the drug dealing was not the cvause. The councilman probably suffers from little man syndrome asnd has issues about being dissed.
I agree. The only problem I see is that he used too many "big" words for the piece of trash to read!
And you seem to suffer from bleeding heart disease.
