I heard about this story at work today but I didn't believe it until I found this story. I hope the little boy can recover without being scarred for life.

Am I a "breedist" because my first thought was "pit bull"?

No, just a realist. Weird what the dog did, though.

Sounds like a job for Vick to fix.

Sounds like the dog had some experience with human sex.

Dear God our Father,

Through Your loving kindness I Affirm in faith that You are
now placing Your hand of healing upon Boy that has been hurt by this dog. You know
the great concern his family and friends have for him. Know
Also of our love for You and our faith that You will grant
restoration and recovery to this one who is so dear
to many people.
In Christ’s name,
Amen.

Pit bull was my first thought, but not any way shape or form of what happened.

Somehow I think child services should be involved. I just can’t believe a dog would sodomize a 2 year old. Something smells in my opinion.

No you are not a "breedist", although that is what my first thought (and accurate) was. But this is the most unfortunate set of words in the whole article -

still attached to the dog and one of the outside neighbors held the dog and beat it off the child."

Did the reporter REALLY have to use that terminology, particularly considering the circumstances? I mean... good grief. A different choice of verbs would have been in order...

Me too. And at the risk of firing up all the pit owners out there, why does this breed still exist?

Dogs don't need any previous experience, just ask any leg. Poor kid probably was just playing on all fours.

Oh come on. Dogs will sodomize anything that stands still long enough. Legs, stuffed animals, pillow, they really just don't' care.

Are you going to tell me you have never had a dog hump your leg? If so, am I to assume you were asking for it?

>why does this breed still exist?

Partly because no other breed of dogs is of any use for hog hunting.

When I first saw the title, I thought surely they must be talking about a cocker spaniel or a golden retriever.

But a pit bull...I'm shocked!

I went hog hunting with a friend of mine and his father-in-law. His father-in-law had black mouth curs (if I am remembering correctly, but not pits in any event) and they were excellent.

No, it was the first thing I checked for as well.
