More feel good liberalism.
I got an old air pistol that’s broke.
Can I get a $C-note?
What a scam.

Cool, I’ll bring in 4 crappy, old guns, and get me a fine new gat.

Depositors will receive a $100 MasterCard gift card in return for each gun with no questions asked. What an excellent way to get rid of "hot" guns. No records and they get melted down.

It amazes me that these people actually believe this is an effective way of combating violence.
“The return of one gun means that an individual has decided that I will no longer participate in the downgrading or the degrading of my community,”
Another ineffective, liberal, feel-good program that will have no impact on crime. Heaven help us if a Democrat gets elected in ‘08.

They ought'a give out a free badge to those who participate. Just one word:

Damn! At first, I had hoped that maybe the churches would be holding a raffle for some nice guns... But if I lived in the area, you can bet that I’d be trying to find any used Jennings pocket pistols to turn in for $100 gift cards!

I have an old Mosin Nagent (sp??) that just doesn't shoot worth a damn. Maybe 1 out of 4 shells has the bullet tumbling .... and who knows where the bullet ends up....... Usually at least a foot lower then the target at 80 yrds....
I'd be happy to get $100 for it.
Too bad this buy-back is all the way in Chicago.... Maybe there's one in St. Louis.
