Anti-American activist Cindy Sheehan has reportedly claimed an attempt was made on her life after her controversial appearance in Charlotte, N.C., last week.
In a posting on Action Center for Justice blog, Sheehan allegedly wrote:
In Charlotte, NC, the car that I was riding in that has "Peace Mom vs. Pelosi" had a flat tire when we were going down I-40 toward an interview. Later, when we were having the tire repaired, we found out that it had been cut. We think that's attempted murder.
Sheehan canceled her appearance at the Charlotte rally when she arrived and found that a sizable counter-protest by the Gathering of Eagles was allowed by the police to be held near her rally. Even though the two sides were peaceful, Sheehan later accused the police of not protecting her. She also accused the Eagles, a group comprised mainly of Vietnam veterans, of having a history of assaulting women and children.
Sheehan, who gained notoriety by staging a campout in Crawford, Tx., two summers ago that led to her becoming the reputed face of the antiwar movement, has been having public tantrums and wild mood swings in which she has forsaken public life, the Democratic party and the antiwar movement only to return after a brief respite to lead an antiwar campaign and announce a prospective run for public office against Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

I agree. She hasn’t got a clue that she is displaying herself as a pitiful, self-centered, publicity hound that desecrates the grave of her son everytime she gets in front of a camera.

Whom ever she had trying to repair a slashed tire was violating the law. NO tire center will ever try that, they would have told her to buy another tire.

From what little she put in sounds more like a cut from normal everday road hazards to me.
I recently was driving on post with the whole family and heard a popping sound then a hissing and when I stopped I found a big gash in my tire. Attempted murder? No, just a blade from a box-cutter that was debris on the street that found my tire. The tire had been cut but it was just bad luck not an attempted murder.
The She-Hag needs to grow up.
The flat happened while they were driving? Who ever cut it must have been pretty darn fast! I expect her car drove over some "tramp" iron littering the highway. Might have been somebody's tailpipe or muffler. Of course, that would not be as emotionally satisfying to Ms Drama Queen (it's all about ME!!)

PS I've always thought it was better to cut the valve stem since the property damaged is only four or five dollars or so, versus a tire at sixty to one hundred. Easier too since they have no embedded cords (wires) and the effect is the same.

I think this woman is as close to going off the deep end as I have seen her so far.
Because never before in the history of mankind has...
a) fire melted steel and...
b) debris on the road cut into the sidewall of a tire causing it to go flat.
