Barney can be a little toot.

He sure can. He was a handful when he was younger. He was born in 2000 and is approaching his 7th birthday. I think with middle age has come some mellowing in our Barney boy.

I miss Rummy SO much!!! I was really taken aback at Gates' breaking down. I bawl every time I hear about Capt (later Maj) Zembiec's unbelievable patriotism and heroism and that of every single one of our incredible heroes. I was just surprised, as he's not shown that side of himself publicly that I've ever seen. God bless and protect our troops.

To remind us that Someone IS in charge, and an "angel still rides in the whirlwind and directs this storm" ... some of God's miraculous and perfect handiwork ...

VERY cool photo. It's one I don't remember seeing before, You're right. It almost looks like a postcard image.

Sotty was such a wonderful old girl She was born the same year as my beloved Annabelle and Wolfie, only she was born in the spring and they were born in November, the day the Berlin Wall came down in 1989.

She and Wolfie died within a couple of weeks of each other in 2004, and Annabelle followed the next year. I miss them every day, as I suspect President Bush misses his dear Spotty.

It’s something isn’t it, Deb? I’ve cried 5 times over that story, especially the tributes from his own troops in the Marine Echo Company ...it’s all so heartbreaking. But, he was just where he wanted to be. Maj. Zembiec WAS the Lion of Fallujah. May Our Dear Lord grant him his rightful joyful Heaven, for he richly earned it as a ferociously patriotic warrior, saving lives and protecting US.

Our President Bush was certainly a cotton top as a young lad. Notice how long those chaps are...much longer than his little legs. Just such a cutie.
