Gun residue shows that Vince held the revolver cylinder in his hands when the gun was fired.
Vince chose to shoot himself with an untraceable WWII revolver, leaving a perfectly good gun at home.

The gun was Vince Foster’s father’s firearm and there is nothing unusual about war suplus firearms having two serial numbers. It’s the number on the frame that counts.
