Isn’t Liberia an English-speaking country founded by former slaves from America? Or am I thinking of another country?

Supposedly this guy’s native tongue is some obscure language spoken by only 100,000 people. It’s call vai or voi or vei or something like that. :)

It seems to be irrelevant that he graduated from a US high school and a US college and speaks fluent English. Go figure.
