Well I tried to find the quote by Abe Lincoln that says about hanging someone like Murtha. It was something like hang the person from a tree I think. heh heh I mean he has committed treason, but I guess our government doesn't like to do that anymore. Too bad too.

But I have no doubt he thought them. His actions during the Civil War against treasonous members of Congress make that clear, although there's no record that he ever actually hung anybody, he did arrest and exile at least one.
