Boeing Receives $80M Defense Deal

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Pentagon on Thursday awarded an $80 million contract to Boeing Co. to begin planning and construction for two European-based missile defense complexes.
The deal follows an announcement by the Bush administration earlier this year to build two missile defense sites in Poland and the Czech Republic to protect U.S. and European interests.

Bet Boeing is a lot happier place than Ford is these days! Another lay off may hit us...
