I would think the Council on Foreign Affairs would have great deal to do with the North American deal. You can say what you want; but I am not going to vote for any more people that are going to walk up to the plate and turn tail. Do you live in Texas? You want a conservative; you find and vote for a conservative. I like Fred too; but I don't he should be President just because he looks like one.

I don’t see a difference. You support Rudy now or ever, you are not a Conservative (atleast in the manner she did there). If that’s a last option, you don’t say good things, you grumble and you drag yourself to the poll...and maybe vote for him. And even then I don’t feel people should feel guilty for not voting for him.

Doesn’t sound like she’s all that different here...march 2007. Sounds like she’s still sucking Rudy’s toe. Anyone invested in his camp, isn’t going to get a lot of my attention.

Spence Abraham is a perplexing choice to head up Fred Thompson`s team. Even though Abhraham gets a 92 rating from the ACU, he is not my idea of a tough politico. His record on immigration makes him another Mel Martinez.

Always liked Debbie Schlussel, but her public support for the campaign of the liberal Rudy Giuliani looses her all credibility with this conservative. I seriously doubt I’m the only conservatives who thinks that way.

It’s a bit sad to me (while reading this thread), how conspiracy-minded people are, and how driven they are to destroy Fred.

It’s one thing to say,...it’s not the best pick for a manager, and I think he ought to change it, just for the sake of his reputation. That’s a legitamate request and concern. But there’s this endless furor of anti-sentiment on Fred. Like ‘A’ automatically means ‘Z’. The logic is way-out there.

Edward’s isn’t exactly holding much more than hair on his head. I wouldn’t compare him to Fred, although I do think Fred ought change this man over. I’m just not as hysterical as others.

Thanks. I don't support anyone right now. Its still early for me. But I don't believe Abraham or Schlussel will be on the Colorado GOP primary ballot or the general election ballot. Some people enjoy overreacting. Especially when their candidate is receiving weak support, hardly registering in every poll under the sun.

Still, FredT`s choice of Abraham is puzzling.
