Sen. Obama has ESCALATED his criticism of Hillary Clinton -- taking it to political defcon three -- in an exclusive on-camera interview with NBC News. It is a lot tougher than what he said in the debate -- or in the Iowa newspaper interview yesterday. During a stakeout outside his senate office, Obama said in part: "I think what is irresponsible and naive is to have authorized a war without asking how we were going to get out -- and you know I think Senator Clinton hasnt fully answered that issue. "The general principle that I was laying out is that we should not be afraid as America to meet with anybody. "Now, they may not like what we want to hear -- so if Im talking to the President of Iran, Im going to inform him that Israel is our stalwart ally, and we are going to do what's necessary to protect them -- that we will not accept a nuclear bomb in Iran, but that doesnt mean we cant say that face to face. And obviously, the diplomatic spadework has to be done ahead of time.

Does Obama REALLY think dictators will be impressed with diplomacy? Hitler was impressed by Chamberlain's goodwill... until he broke the accords he had sworn to uphold. A better question to Obama would be: If a dictator breaks an agreement with you, how exactly do you plan to hold him accountable for the violation? And I don't mean more small talk.

Mr. Obama is now complaining that there is no “exit strategy” in Iraq.
Well, that is specious. The obvious exit strategy is victory.
Of course, his exit strategy would be to run away and hide.
That’ll give us a lot of credibility in the region, won’t it?
We run from the area and then try to talk tough to Iran about Israel?
That makes about as much sense as blaming rain on wet streets.

The Democrats are cowards. They don't have the gumption to go on FOX News Channel. Yet they're ones who say we need to get out of Iraq! They don't even have a plan for it; they just make it up out of thin air as they go along. And they want the world to take them as being credible. After the Senate Slumber Party, that has got to be a joke.

And obviously, the diplomatic spadework has to be done ahead of time.
Hmmmmm... and just who would be the best person to do that spadework Mr. Obama? Now, if it were a broad category of work, I'd say Ms. Clinton would be the one for the job. But spadework? I'll have to think about that.

So, his criteria for declaring a war is to include surrender terms...ours, not the enemy. Out Frenching the froggies is not even a survival tactic.

You hit it right on the head. Its easy for the RATS to debate each other on networks where they dont have to answer the tough questions. Just wait until the Democrat - Republican debates begin, and fancy speeches need to be backed up by substance. The Rats will get KILLED!!
