I’m signing off now. I am going to finish the last chapters of “A Thousand Splendid Suns” by the author of “The Kite Runner” Khaled Husseini. It’s a great book on Afghanistan through the 80’s and 90’s up to the liberation. Anyone who doubts that liberating that country from the Taliban should read this. The conditions for those people, especially the women were unbelievably sad.
I just turned my back on Charlie for a minute and discovered him stealing jelly-bellys from a bowl on my desk. It’s definately time to put him to bed.LOL

Tony Snow looks thin and his hair is now all gray. I think his cancer treatment has really aged him. When I look at him, I feel bad for him.

Closely related to the production of honey, has anyone finally figured out the definitive answer to why more than the usual number of bees have died throughout both the spring and summer of this year? There’s still a serious shortage of bees this year that greatly affects the total amount of honey that’s being produced throughout the U.S. Was it possibly due to parasites or because of some kind of a virus?
