Hunter fights new Iraq pullout plan

Bush has been punching back hard on Iraq. Too bad so many of his GOP ‘allies’ are lilly livered pukes and don’t do what Bush and Hunter have done.

Nice effort. I'm not sure precisely how they expected to order him to comply. They can fund or not fund, declare war, make peace, ratify treaties, marque/reprisal.

But they have no authority to compel him to submit reports to them of any type. Annually, he has to send them a proposed budget (which they're free to disregard) and a state of the union statement (formerly in writing, appearing and giving a speech is a modern ceremonial event). That's about it unless they impeach him (House) to attempt to convict and remove him (Senate).
