Flat tax is 17% on income, plus 7.65% on wages, plus 7.65 of wages from ER. That is, it doesn't eliminate payroll taxes.

Just as bad, it has business taxes - which just end up hidden in prices of goods at retail.

The flat income tax ends up being 32.1%.

Flat tax is 17% on income,
17% on taxable income, not all income is taxable...Unlike every dime you spend under the Fairtax would be taxed, including the "prebate"....Not to mention the tax on taxes built into the stupid thing.

Unless you want to alter your lifestyle and live in a cave, ride a bike, plant a garden, dumpster dive, wear someone elses old clothes Etc. so you can feel good about not paying exorbitant sales taxes...that'll show'em.
