Does this mean the crime rate in Houston and other major cities in Texas will soon return to its’ pre-Katrina low.

Sorry but I was distracted before I gave you my complete thoughts. I hope the crime rate in Houston goes down because that is where I live but these are not the kind of people who made it rise. The people who made our crime rate rise are killing each other off, slowly but surely, and I hope that continues. The elderly welfare recipients are still here and will likely remain here.

No ,I seriously doubt that the crime rate will drop. Because by now ,several hundred more Mexicans ,make that “thousands” have come to Houston,the “Sanctuary City”.I’ve read crimes that are done by Mexicans ,that make your hair stand on end.And by the way ,not all of the Katrina evacuees are terrible people.Just the criminals that made their way here after the storm.
