I don't see why you'd disagree with Stephen. Mr. Cheney, I believe, has provided the "What do I have to lose?" backbone behind the prosecution of the war in Iraq and other counterterrorism measures. However, in terms of other issues, I don't see him as "conservative" in the way I see myself.
A gentleman of his age is, I belive, more likely to think government can "do something about it" than someone of my (40-ish) generation.
