Thanks for your kind words, My son will be home in about 45 days God Willing. He will finally get to hold his newborn (now 5 month old) son. See post above for BOR comments. I just tuned in because of a thread over the weekend hear about his radio show mentioning FR and wanted to see if there was any mention.

Again, Thanks for the kind words for my son and I would also extend them to every Military Man and Woman as well as their families supporting them from back home.

In all honesty, I think that the type, severity and duration of seizures depends on a few factors. First, the person's neurophysiology: we are all, as the saying goes, wired differently; Second, the cause of the seizure, whether it be pathological, neurochemical, or febrile.

As far as "warning signs" go, I have seen patients who seized without warning. One moment they are talking and the next, BAM, they are in full-blown tonic-clonic seizure (grand mal). So warning signs are not always there.

I don't recall, off the top of my head, which classes of brain tumors are benign versus malignant. But none of them are good, to be sure, and all can have lasting effects.
