Either homosexuality will be in the closet, or Christianity will be in the closet. You can’t have both. Once a society starts down the “gay rights” path, it’s inevitable that religious liberty, property rights, freedom of association, freedom of speech, and other traditional rights will be suppressed to advance the revolutionary and faddish new “rights” of homosexuals.

It shouldn't have to be that way.

Homosexuals shouldn't have to "be in the closet", although I'd prefer they keep their sex lives to themselves like normal people do.

Neither should anybody have to give up "religious liberty, property rights, freedom of association, freedom of speech, and other traditional rights" - period.

This is just another case of socialism (statism) gone amok. The goobermint has no right to do this.

It ain't libertarian or conservative, and it sure as hell ain't American.

Yup. But the choice is even simpler. Either homosexuality will be in the closet, or common sense will be in the closet. Homosexuality is contrary to the natural law, which is knowable by all people, regardless of religion.
