Vegans shun meaty sex

WELLINGTON: A group of New Zealand vegans - people who do not eat any animal products - are shunning sex with meat eaters, claiming their bodies are made up of animal carcasses.

"When you are vegan or vegetarian, you are very aware that when people eat a meaty diet, they are kind of a graveyard for animals," said vegan Nichola Kriek. Another said: "I would not want to be intimate with someone whose body is literally made up from the bodies of others who have died for their sustenance."

Annie Potts, co-director of the New Zealand Centre for Human and Animal Studies at Canterbury University, identified the people she called "vegansexuals" in her research study.

So by choice or default, doesn't that basically make a zucchini or corn cob the ultimate sexual partner?

That doesn’t mean she was born with them. Lots of Hollywood teens have work done to enhance their careers.

Vegans have a mental illness. They are obsessed with animals. Vegetarians are just a little different, but otherwise normal.

Usually they get that Gelsey Kirkland/Anna Nicole Smith marionette look if they’ve had silicone injected into their lips.

I was not a vegan mind you, but a vegetarian. The vegans have the circles due to deficiencies in fats that are needed for adrenal hormone function.

My favorite Far Side cartoon ever— A bunch of lions are standing around the prey eating, and one looks up and says—”Do you remember the time we were standing around the prey like this and Ralph told a joke. George laughed so hard an antler came out of his nose!”

and you are going to feel pretty stupid laying in bed dying from eating vegtables...

Did you know that “meat” is actually green due to curing (putrifaction), and that the “red” color is a result of chemicals added to change color??

Bullshit.

If you are a meat eater, you sustain this cruelty...

Happy to do it!

...with every greasy and fatty mouthful.

That savory taste and mouth feel is the best part. Yum.

This meat is putrified. It would be green except for the added chemicals.

Liar.

The venison that I eat almost every day was a bright, deep red when I butchered the animal. This was only a few minutes after the shot that sent Bambi’s mom off to deer heaven. Since I use a magnum rifle and good bullet placement, my deer almost always drop immediately at the spot where I shot them. That meat is frozen within an hour and is still the same delicious color when it goes on my grill. That bit about green meat and dye is some incredibly stupid vegan propaganda. Does anyone with an IQ above room temp buy that silliness?

nice rack-o-lamb.

It's not just the meat, it shunning dairy and eggs as well. So, no baked goods w/eggs, no yogurt, no milk, no dairy-based ice cream, no cheese on your tofuburger. Most people don't want to limit their diet that much.

I know someone who professes to be vegan, but eats desserts w/o worrying about what's in them. As she says, "It's not a religion," but to many it is. They don't eat much that they haven't prepared themselves, much like someone who keeps kosher or halal.

There was some research that veganism was good for diabetics, so, being semi-veg myself, I thought I'd give it a spin, but sorry, I like yogurt and lord knows I like ice cream. As long as one picks lower fat versions (assuming health rather than politics is the reason for the diet), I don't see where a little dairy hurts you. And for someone watching carbs, eggs and egg products are great choices to help control blood sugar.

If folks would just go vegan w/o the politics, I wouldn't care, but it's the anti-corporate, anti-capitalist crap that comes with it that drives me nuts. Just don't eat the damn meat!

Wonderful post! I doubt I’ll run into too many farm-ignorant vegans out here in Iowa, but I know plenty of vegetarian/vegan snobs in other places to make this worthwhile information.

stupid vegans

as if a corn stalk isn't "killed" in the harvesting process

just cause they feel guilty about eating something with a face, get over it

not to mentioned I have noticed in nature that most of the meat eating animals like lions and tigers are fast and lean while the vegitarian animals like cows are slow and fat.

If God had not wanted man to eat animals, He would not have made animals out of meat.

When man/apes moved out onto the grasslands, the vegan/apes who wouldn't eat meat quickly died out. The SMART ones ate everything, got even smarter, made fun of vegans and built computers...

He, he that made me laugh. It reminds me of the condensed history of the world, which seems appropriate here.

THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD

For those that don’t know a lot about history...Here is a condensed version...

Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunter/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer and would go to the coast and live on fish and lobster in the winter.

The two most important events in all of history were the invention of beer and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundation of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups:

1. Liberals; and

2. Conservatives.

Once beer was discovered, it required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented yet, so while our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery.

That’s how villages were formed.

Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to B-B-Q at night while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as the Conservative movement.

Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly B-B-Q’s and doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the Liberal movement.

Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. The rest became known as girlie-men or wussies and became vegetarians. Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy, group hugs, and the concept of voting to decide how to divide the meat and beer that conservatives provided.

Over the years Conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth; the elephant.

Liberals are symbolized by the jackass.

A few modern liberals like Mexican light beer (with lime added), but most prefer a chilled glass of Sauvignon Blanc, with passion fruit and kiwi aromas which are marked by grassy notes, then rounded out on the midpalate by peach flavors. Crisp and refreshing, with a hint of chalky minerality on the finish; or Perrier bottled water. They eat raw fish but dislike beef. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare.

Another interesting evolutionary side note: most of their women have higher testosterone levels than their men. Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, Ivy League professors, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood and group therapists are liberals. Liberals invented the designated-hitter rule because it wasn’t fair to make the pitcher also bat.

Conservatives drink Sam Adams, Harpoon IPA or Yuengling Lager. They eat red meat and still provide for their women. Conservatives are big-game hunters, rodeo cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors, police officers, corporate executives, athletes, Marines, and generally anyone who works productively.

Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living.

Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers and decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America . They crept in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of trying to get more for nothing.

Here ends today’s lesson in world history.
