Vegans shun meaty sex

WELLINGTON: A group of New Zealand vegans - people who do not eat any animal products - are shunning sex with meat eaters, claiming their bodies are made up of animal carcasses.

"When you are vegan or vegetarian, you are very aware that when people eat a meaty diet, they are kind of a graveyard for animals," said vegan Nichola Kriek. Another said: "I would not want to be intimate with someone whose body is literally made up from the bodies of others who have died for their sustenance."

Annie Potts, co-director of the New Zealand Centre for Human and Animal Studies at Canterbury University, identified the people she called "vegansexuals" in her research study.

Animals on factory farms do not see the sun or get a breath of fresh air until they are prodded and crammed onto trucks for a nightmarish ride to the slaughterhouse, often through weather extremes and always without food or water.

I think “outside Hollywood” is the key. Hollywood is a trendy, “me-too” culture, therefore a lot of people would be vegans or vegetarians that might not otherwise, and many of them are rather attractive.

That said, I have nothing “against” those who choose not to eat meat, so long as they don’t get preachy towards me. I won’t even go into the fact that it seems to be self-deprivation of the utmost degree...

Yeah - she’s smokin’ ... not sure what that proves. Even pretty people can be stupid ... and, I’m not sure veganism can even be classified as “stupid”. Its a cuisine choice ... so what? Beg to differ. Nothing raging moonbat about being a non-meat eater. Some see it as right to life, others as right to exploit. Where in the constitution does it say you have to kill animals to sustain yourself ?

I think it’s time for these hypocritical vegans to learn how to subsist on a healthy diet of rocks, dirt and sand. That way, they don’t have to worry about killing other forms of life merely to extend their own lives.

Did you know that “meat” is actually green due to curing (putrifaction), and that the “red” color is a result of chemicals added to change color??

I hate to tell you this, but as a person who has grown animals, slaughtered animals and who eats animals, you have no idea what you are talking about, I have been the process start to finish.

BTW my cows, chickens and pigs were all very happy, and never knew they were food.
